Iconic landmarks such as the Romer, the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral, and the picturesque Old Town offer a glimpse into Frankfurt’s rich history. The city is also celebrated for its cultural scene, with world-class museums, theatres, and art galleries.
Frankfurt is at the forefront of innovation, particularly in finance, technology, and sustainability, making it the ideal location for this conference. Its well-developed public transport system and international accessibility make traveling seamless.
Frankfurt is a well-connected city with excellent transportation options, making it easily accessible by air, train, bus, tramp, and other modes of transport.
Frankfurt Airport (FRA): Located about 13 km northeast of the city center, Frankfurt Airport serves Germany’s fifth largest city and is the main hub for the German airline, Lufthansa.
Metro, Trams, and Buses: Operated by the RMV (Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund), Frankfurt’s public transit system includes the U-Bahn (metro), trams, and buses. The U-Bahn is particularly efficient for quick travel within the city and its suburbs, while trams and buses provide extensive coverage across the city and surrounding areas.

It serves as a major hub for both national and international trains, including high-speed services like ICE (InterCity Express), connecting Frankfurt to cities such as Berlin, Munich, Paris, and Zurich.
Other Major Stations: In addition to Hauptbahnhof, Frankfurt Süd (South) and Frankfurt West are important stations that handle regional and national train services.
Bike-Friendly: Frankfurt is becoming increasingly bike-friendly, with a growing network of cycling paths and bike-sharing schemes like “Call a Bike” provided by Deutsche Bahn, making it easier to navigate the city by bike.
